DLPAC Series are acid washed coconut based activated carbon block filter cartridges. They are predominantly microporous and the least dusty. So they are very efficient at organic chemical adsorption and more effective in reducing fine sediments, unwanted chlorine, taste, odor from potable drinking water than other activated carbon cartridges. Further advantages of the coconut-shell based activated carbon are as followings: adsorb volatile organic chemicals, pesticides, herbicides, and disinfec-tion by-products like THM, remove halogens from water and improve the clarity and taste of drinking water. They are made from a high performance coconut-carbon formulation that yields a cartridge with high chlorine taste & odor reduction capacity.
